New Yorkers - Come Out To Support Sherrod!
Sherrod Brown is a progressive Dem running for Senate in Ohio against conservative Republican Mike DeWine. See http://www.sherrodbrown.com/
Sherrod says it like it is, and he's gaining a big following in this all-important swing state. But he needs campaign money to keep the momentum going, and so the Democratic Senate '06 Committee in New York City is throwing a fundraiser for him next week. It will mostly be young professionals and students and should be a lot of fun - Sherrod is a great speaker. Details below. Thanks! Sacha

Congressman Sherrod Brown is running against Mike DeWine, one of the most vulnerable Republican incumbents running this year. DeWine is down in the polls, but well ahead in fundraising, so it is critical that Sherrod get the finances he needs to gain victory for the Democrats in Ohio. Democratic Senate '06 is a network of professionals dedicated to returning a Democratic majority to the United States Senate in 2006. This event for Sherrod Brown will be the second of a series of happy-hour events the group will host for Democratic Senate candidates in key swing races around the country that will determine control of Congress. Check out our website: http://www.ds06.org
At our first event we raised nearly $12,000 for Claire McCaskill who has arch-conservative Jim Talent on the ropes in Missouri. With your help we can surpass the incredible success of our first event and help bring Ohio back into the Democratic fold! Your involvement is critical. Together we can have a significant impact.
Please forward this to anyone you know who might be interested in attending the event or joining the host committee. We look forward to seeing you on the 19th!
Yours,
The Democratic Senate '06 Committee
